19th Century E W Godwin Mahogany Bow Back Chair William Watt

About the Item

An exceptional Bow back corner chair dating from the 1870s attributed to E W Godwin, probably made by William Watt. Very well constructed Bow chair with circular seat and bobbin turned uprights and front leg,  decorative cross stretcher and decorative roundels.  Wonderful original colour and patination, in untouched condition.  Stamped W.W to the rear.  The chair is of exceptional quality, it is an extremely elegant stand alone chair that has a sense of presence and would be a wonderful additional to any room. In wonderful untouched condition, some distressing to the front edge of the seat ST1590
