Rare Primitive Walnut Chair 19th Century English Wabi Sabi style

About the Item

A rare primitive chair of unusual design. The seat and back are made from one piece of Walnut timber. The legs are tenoned through the solid seat and wedged to hold. Wonderful tool marks are visible all over the chair from the shaping of the chair with adzs tools. The chair has a good patina built through use over time. A wonderful primitive chair, a great addition to help create a wabi sabi style interior.
