19th Century Rawhide Primitive Chairs, c. 1850

About the Item

This is a rare set of 8 handmade wooden dining chairs with rawhide seats, c. 1850's. Each chair has a ladder back with woven rawhide seats and saw marks are clearly visible. These chairs have retained their original finish and have the appropriate patina for the age and use. Each chair is sturdy and structurally sound. We have 8 available, priced per chair.
