Highly decorative late 19th Century salon chair in the Italian taste.
This fine quality chair is made by the eminent makers Edwards & Roberts of Wardour Street and Oxford Street, London. Painted throughout with classic scenes and floral ornaments.The shaped back has an incredibly intricate scene of lovers in a garden to the front and musical instruments to the rear.
With open armrests, this chair rests on cabriole legs terminating on pad feet.
