19th CENTURY SET OF FOUR BIEDERMEIER CHAIRS

About the Item

Elegant set consisting of four ebonized wooden chairs, dating back to the mid-19th century, of French manufacture. These chairs feature a chalky underlay, which gives them a sophisticated and distinctive look. The most peculiar feature of these chairs are the truncated cone legs, which add a touch of refinement to their design. The back of the chairs is made in the shape of a stylized cornucopia, creating a unique and elegant decorative element. Also notable is the fact that the chairs are also carved on the back, making them pleasant to look at from any angle around a table. The chairs are in excellent condition, and the seat of each chair is covered in a refined ivory-colored silk blend fabric, which matches perfectly with the ebonization of the wood. Measurements: HxWxD 95 x 48 x 40cm. Seat height: 48cm.
