6 Original Thonet 209 Dining chairs with rare blue upholstery
About the Item
The Thonet 209 is a timeless classic. The brother Thonet designed this elegant Chair design already in 1900. This chair has a simple and minimal aesthetic which almost gives the chair a sculptural feel.
The Swiss architect Le Corbusier used to love this chair and used this model in many of his interiors.
This set of 6 chairs is an original Thonet Design from 1992 manufactured in Germany, It has a beech frame and a beautiful and rare vibrant blue upholstery. This combination is rare and beautiful.
The chairs are in great condition for their age. the wood has almost no signs of use. The upholstery has very slight signs of use such as small stains and slight discoloration. All in all, they are a real statement piece and a design classic that will look stunning around any type of dining table.
