Antique 19th Century Victorian jockey scale, crafted by WT Avery of Birmingham, stands as a remarkable artefact of horse racing history. This finely made instrument, fashioned from sturdy English oak and adorned with cast iron scales, was employed to ascertain the weight of jockeys prior to races.
