Antique Folk Art Swedish Rustic Kubbstol

Folk Art rustic Kubbstol from northern Sweden. A Kubbstol is a chair made of a single piece of wood that's been hewn out to form the seat, back and frame. It's a primitive construction with a simple design and this particular piece is made from a large log of northern Swedish pine. The chair is made around the turn of the century and has since then aged well. It is in original condition with original paint, the latter of which has become naturally distressed by time and use for over 200 years. here is a small dry crack in the seat but nothing that affects function or stability. The chair is in structurally sound condition with a healthy and solid frame.
