ANTIQUE PAIR OF 17TH CENTURY JACOBEAN ENGLISH OAK CHAIRS FROM THE FILM HELLBOy

About the Item

Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this exquisite pair of 17th century English oak hall or side chairs that were used in the 2004 film Hellboy and that have carved in the top back "Nil Desperandum" which is Latin for "Do Not Dispair" A highly decorative and original pair of Northern English chairs, they are all the original carvings, wooden pin nails and so on, they just scream age and quality The chairs were used as mentioned in the 2004 film Hellboy, they can be in Lady Hattons house as part of the Attic set We have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, there will be plenty of age and use related patina marks as you would expect from 350+ year old chairs Dimensions Height:- 124.5cm Width:- 50cm Depth:- 44cm Seat Height:- 47cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask.
