Antique Pair Regency George IV Neo-Classical Architectural Mahogany Hall Chairs

About the Item

A good pair of antique Regency carved mahogany hall chairs, in the Neo-Classical style, 1830's. The chairs having an architectural twin 'Swan's Neck' pediment to the top & flanking a turned urn shaped finial, each chair back having central carved oval paterae and carved bosses & acanthus leaf spandrels. The front legs of carved block tapering form, the rear legs having a gentle outswept 'sabre' shaped leg, condition is very good.
