Unique and rare set of 6 Austria Biedermeier Dining chairs , attributed to Josef Danhauser, 1820. Lyra shaped backs with inlay fruitwood on walnut wood veneer. All original condition, no structural restoration . Original shellack polish. Seats made of wood frames filled with sea grass and horse hair. Reupholstered in oatmeal striped upholstery. Sought by collectors sets of 6 early Biedermeier chairs. Beautiful sculptural additions to any interior.
