About the Item

These iconic three legged steel and leather sling 'T-Chairs' by William Katavolos, Douglas Kelley & Ross Littell for Laverne International were designed in 1952. This set of four are collectible early production examples with original leather and frames, and are excellent options for an interior designer, art and design collector, or anyone looking for a comfortable and design-on-trend set of dining chairs. The Laverne International T-Chair innovative design utilizes hidden screws to attach the leather sling seats to a tubular chromed steel frame with flat black steel supports. The Model 3LC 'T-Chair' can be found in the permanent collection in the Museum of Modern Art in New York and other worldwide museums. These William Katavolos, Ross Littel and Douglas Kelley T Chairs would work great in a Mid-Century Modern, Scandanavian Modern or Danish Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary or Post-Modern room. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, Classical or Art Deco room with a splash of juxtaposition.
