Chair With Brass Finish And Water Buffalo Leather
About the Item
The Safari Chair's 1" round solid steel bar is stamped with a pattern and then hand-forged with red hot forges and acetylene torches. The chair is shaped by hand along with nematic bending machines to achieve the contemporary shape. After the metalwork is completed the chair is electroplated brass and polished to a mirror finish. It is then lacquered to preserve the finish. Finally, the Water Buffalo leather is hand-sewn onto the frame. The leather is very thick, strong and supple.
