About the Item

Chair by Duba Møbelindustri in the 1980s - vintage dining chair with original orange wool upholstery, beech armrest and chromed legs - in very good vintage condition. A very attractive dining chair, shaped a little different to common slim and Minimalist dining chairs - this is a wide chair with clear reference to Spage Age design with tubular chromed steel, orange wool and beech. The seat slants slightly backward, resting on a chromed tubular steel frame, while the backrest is supported by two chromed steel tubes extended from the back of the seat. These two chromed steel tubes emerges from the sides of backrest and offers support to the slightly upwards tilted beech armrests. The wide 'squat' style is super appealing and gives this chair a Space Age feel, while the combination of materials adds an Industrial touch. Both the seat and backrest features the original orange wool upholstery, which have been cleaned by professional furniture cleaners, the beech armrests have been carefully restored and lacquered to protect the beech from wear. Very modern Industrial chair with just the right tone of orange wool upholstery that would look amazing around a kitchen table, dining table, office or lounge area. It is very comfortable and offers great support for the back and arms. These chairs from Duba are sourced from a former Royal Danish Postal Service office - I have 12 chairs with orange wool upholstery and beech armrests in stock - all in very good vintage condition with few normal signs of usage and age. All features Danish Furniture Makers sticker, and some are dated 1984. I also have one forest-green chair up for sale in the shop, all sourced from same place.
