The Park Place chair was designed by Yabu Pushelberg for the Man of Parts design studio. This seat refers to the area of the same name in Manhattan, New York. This financial district is notably the location of the Park Place tower, famous for its twenty-three floors spread over a height of eighty-eight meters. The simple, strong lines of the Park Place dining chair's metal structure are reminiscent of the skyscrapers that dominate Manhattan.
Man of Parts is a Canadian based design studio offering contemporary furniture and lighting. Born from the vision of German collector and travel enthusiast Stephan Weishaupt, this truly modern studio embodies a post-national perspective. Man of Parts creations are European-made and inspired from around the world. Their collections are thought through to the smallest detail, whether it's an armchair in Italian fabric, a wooden chair from Germany or an occasional table. Beyond the design of quality designer furniture, Man of Parts conveys a borderless way of life that is undeniably elegant.
