A contemporary Italian design ladder chair, designed by Romeo Sozzi for his Promemoria atelier. Handcrafted by skilled Italian artisans in 2018, this clever dual-purpose piece transitions from a sculptural lacquered side chair into a compact and stable set of step ladders—a modern interpretation of the traditional library chair.
Constructed from solid beech wood and finished in a greige-toned high-gloss lacquer, the chair features brushed nickel hardware and smooth, flowing lines. The folding mechanism is fully integrated, maintaining the silhouette when closed.
Dimensions: 92 cm high × 41 cm wide × 46 cm deep.
Condition: Ex-display; unused, with light surface handling marks only.
