This fine example of a vintage chair, attributed to designer Ming, is an excellent example of early 20th-century Italian craftsmanship. Made between 1920 and 1929, the chair is distinguished by the elegance of its lines and the richness of its hand-carved decoration, visible in the floral details and ornamental carvings that adorn the wooden frame.
The piece skillfully blends brass and high-quality wood, presenting a deep brown hue with warm highlights that enhance its classic aesthetic. The vintage style is evident but understated, making it perfect both for traditional settings and as a contrast in more modern settings.
Despite its age, the chair is in very good condition: it shows slight signs of wear consistent with time, but has no structural defects. The restoration, if done at all, was unobtrusive and respectful of the original design.
With generous dimensions (80 cm wide, 70 cm deep and 110 cm high), this seat combines aesthetics and functionality, being comfortable and scenic.
