Gilt & Green Japanned Suite

About the Item

A superb gilt and green japanned suite, comprising of a three seater settee and a pair of armchairs. Early twentieth century, in George II style. The gilt chinoiserie decoration displaying figures and flowers, with fine original cane backs and seats on shell capped cabriole legs, raised on ball and claw feet. Fitted squab cushions can be made upon request. Some signs of historic woodworm.
