Jacques Guillon Cord Chair

About
A single accent chair by French Canadian designer Jacques Guillon. Designed in 1953, the deceptively simple design consists of three interlocking wooden pieces - stacked maple faced with a contrasting walnut veneer - joined by a wooden dowel, and strung with taut nylon cord that provides the framework and cushion of the chair.
Condition: Great vintage condition; wooden elements have been hand cleaned and polished, and the nylon cord has been replace according to the original design.
Dimensions: 19" width x 22" depth x 33" height; seat height is 18".
