Sedia Laleggera part of the work Mezzoterra Mezzomare Mediterraneans, by Michelangelo PISTOLET and Juan Esteban SANDOVAL Michelangelo PISTOLETTO painted the sea shore on the Laleggera chair, designed by Riccardo BLUMER for ALIAS. Each of the chairs that make up the work depicts a section of the shoreline of a particular geographic area, in this case the Mediterranean Sea, as indicated on the certificate signed by the artist below the chair. The present specimen is number 44, placed at the location indicated on the map on the packaging and on the bottom of the chair.
