Elegant pair of 19th century Gustavian barrel back armchairs with detailed lions' head carvings on arms, saber legs, scraped to original patina with European Burlap. Carving on the chair back at top of seat rest, sides, apron and legs add to the layers of detail that make the chairs an exquisite example of Swedish neoclassical carving.
