Pair of Dutch Baroque style marquetry side chairs featuring drop-in seats and inlaid marquetry details. Each chair displays a shaped crest rail above a back splat richly decorated with floral motifs, birds, urns, and foliage. The central splats highlight finely inlaid birds surrounded by intricate floral designs, exemplifying traditional Baroque craftsmanship. The chairs rest on heavily carved legs, and terminate in bold ball-and-claw front feet.
