Pair of George I Style Giltwood Chairs

About the Item

A fabulous pair of early 20th century carved and gilded chairs in the George I style, the front cabriole legs have carved mask heads on the knees and carved decoration running down the legs, the back legs are also profusely carved, the seat rails carved with egg and dart, the seat and back are nicely upholstered in a rich red damask with a flower and leaf pattern, these pair of chairs are in excellent condition and are of fabulous quality, circa 1920.
