A pair of low-rise, elegant modernist slipper chairs, with the charm of Ico Parisi and representative of the Italian Fifties.
Structural support in well-maintained, polished mahogany, backrest and seat upholstered in an elegant green-grey velvet.
In these pieces the eclectic Modernist shapes are accompanied by contrasting tones and lush materials in this sought-after seats ensemble.
The seats are extremely well preserved, very comfortable and suitable for modern lounge spaces and living rooms.
Parisi began his career as an architect in the late 1930s, but he soon became known for his innovative furniture designs and sculptures. His work embodied the principles of modernism and the mid-century design movement, characterized by clean lines, geometric forms, and a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics.
