Pair of Painted Woodwork Chairs - XIX Century - Europe

About the Item

Mostly found to embelish and side furniture in hall ways and bedrooms, these painted wood work chairs of the XIX Century, besides offering excellent seat position, are in good condition to mosly being decorative items of the interior décor of the time. The artistry and colors employed - black, white and dark red - denote the carefully choice of good color pigments and brushes on the dark brown wood material. Still relevant to make a décor statement on the XXI Century, these chair style type are to be contemplated on their own right for the pleasing eye.
