About the Item
An extremely rare pair of hand-crafted wooden replicas
of the famous stone throne from the Minoan Palace at Knossos, Crete.
The original artifact dates from c. 1,600 b.c.
It was excavated by Sir Arthur Evans during the first years of the 20th century.
The replicas are the work of a master craftsman, and were probably made during the 1920s.
