About the Item
Monumental and sculptural chair made of large bamboo trunks. It is constructed and hand pleated with refigned strips of bamboo. The seat is made of bamboo slats woven together.
This ocasional chair is decorative as well as comfortable. The material originated fron Asia became popular amongst interior designers in the 1950's in Europe. Bamboo is extremely strong, 3 times stronger than timber. The material and form lends sophistication and sensibility to any style interior to make a statement in the space.
