About the Item
Set of 10 chairs model "811" produced in the 1970s based on a design by renowned architect Josef Hoffman and made by the Drevounia manufactory, "made in Czechoslovakia" as label still visible.
The set has a curved beechwood frame stained black with tanned seats and backrest.
It is reported that the Vienna straw from which the backrest and seats are made are in need of redoing. Only two seats and seven backs are healthy the others have obvious breaks.
On the other hand, as far as the wood is concerned, it is very healthy except for some signs of time or use.
