Set of 3 German Lotus Stacking Chairs and Table by Hartmut Lohmeyer, 1970s

About the Item

Elegant furniture kusch + co to a design by hartmut lohmeyer and alexandra ionescu from the 70s. The organically curved backs of the chairs are particularly striking. These are formed in a special process and show a distinctive texture. Another special feature is the material changes. Wood meets painted metal. These cushions of textile. All in a combination of colors in yellow and dark blue. The chairs and stacks inserted and stowed so little space. The matching, square table is coated white on the top. The table top is peripherally framed yellow with a holzanleimer. The yellow glaze can shine through wonderful the grain of the wood.
