About the Item
Set of 4 dining chairs made from steamed bentwood, produced in 1970, at the factory Ton in Bystrice pod Hostýnem, Czechoslovakia.
Factory Ton was the original Thonet factory, that in latter years continued to produced bentwood chairs in new designs.
The design is elegant especially from the profile.
They are very comfortable to sit in, the angle the back rest provides comfortable support over longer periods of time.
The wood has a dark stain and is in very good condition. The seat has been reupholstered in an orange coloured linen.
