Set of 6 Biedermeier Elegant Black Chairs, Germany, 19th Century, Fully Restored

About the Item

Set of six comfortable, original Biedermeier style chairs manufactured in Germany, circa 1820-1840. The chairs are made of walnut, partially on the seat and backrest veneered with walnut veneer. The set is completely restored. The upholstery has been replaced to a new elegant back fabric. The wooden elements have been cleaned and are finished with shellac polish applied manually with a pad to a high gloss with pores obliterated, which in addition to the excellent visual effect protects and cares for the wood. Beautiful, elegant and absolutely classy set!
