Set of 6 modernist french pine chairs, 1970's
About the Item
This superb series of chairs is the result of artisanal work from the 70s with lovely attention to detail and elements that give a unique character to this series. The very geometric shapes evoke the clean, rectilinear lines of modernism, in the purest Bauhaus spirit. We like the contrast between the seats and the black details which complete the assemblies of these chairs, the pine evokes the work of mountain furniture like that of Charlotte Perriand during the same years.
Note that the seat is a little wider than a classic chair.
