Set of 6 Brutalist chairs in solid oak, very nice design, very good condition, seat redone a few years ago in Alcantara In recent years, we have seen a return to grace of “brutalism”, a very particular style of design characterized by minimalism of forms and the use of raw materials. Current designers are inspired by this very fashionable style from the 50s to the end of the 70s to create unique collector's items. Some moreover do not hesitate to claim a “neo brutalist” design which draws from brutalism a taste for the harshness of certain bare materials (raw concrete, rough wood, bare bricks, weathered plaster). Pieces of furniture attributed to this style are highly prized by collectors today.
