Constructed entirely from solid pine, the chair’s form leans into the expressive potential of the wood: visible knots, linear grain, and the warm, slightly uneven tone of the material become visual features. Looking closely, the most striking aspect is the backrest. It takes on an almost eye-shaped or almond-like curve. The seat follows a similarly tactile logic. It’s subtly rounded at the edges, rejecting harsh corners in favor of a form that feels considered. Strips of pine are arranged in parallel across the seat, creating a rhythm that emphasizes the natural variance in wood tone and texture. Structurally, the legs are stout and direct. Their cylindrical profile gives them a quiet sturdiness.
