About the Item

Set of four 19th century English mahogany chairs features an elegant look inspired by the French Empire style, with the sheer natural beauty of the exotic imported mahogany showing forth in the framework around the generously appointed seat. The elegant lines recall the influence of ancient Egyptian designs that were revived during Napoleon's reign. Upholstery will need to be replaced. Circa 1880s Each measures 34 H x 17 W x 17 D; seat 19.5 H.
