About the Item

Set of Four Mahogany Chairs in White Upholstery, circa 1880 We present you these four mahogany chairs from the late 19th century. The slightly tilted and rolled outwards backrests add charm to the chairs. The seats are on webbing and springs. The front legs are finished with rolls, which makes moving the chairs around easier. Furthermore, the decorative elements have been limited to spare flutings and small floral motifs. The frame is made of mahogany and coniferous wood veneered with mahogany. Presented chairs has undergone preventive restoration. They bear delicate traces of time. The upholstery is secondary. It is possible to replace it for an additional fee.
