Set of four Napoleon III ebonized salon chairs with balloon-back, cabriole legs, upholstered back and seat. France, circa 1870. Beautifully restored frames with original ebonized wood. Springs have been re-tied in the process of re-upholstery. Very comfortable with good lumbar support. Wonderful as dining chairs or around a game table. Original sofa is also available Ref: LU98814322943 Note: You should always request a shipping quote.     Reupholstered. Refinished. Repaired: All loose joints have been cleaned, re-glued and clamped Chairs were re-upholstered in a neutral linen fabric, 8 way hand tied spring construction. Fabric in showroom sample condition, not perfect but usable Seats are very comfortable. Wear consistent with age and use. Chairs were covered with a linen fabric for display purposes. Chairs are of the period and are in very good mechanical condition. Upholstery involved replacing the jute strapping, re-sewing the springs to jute and 8 way hand tying springs.
