About the Item

A lightness and purity of line; the Patoz chairs are pared back the simplest of geometries. Each chair consists of a chromed steel rod structure, painted black, with a seat and backrest in saddle hide featuring visible stitching. This set of 12 chairs is in good condition, with no visible marks and scratches. The seats’ leather wear is relative to their age. An additional pair of chairs is also available beyond this set, for a total of 14 chairs. Francesco Soro (b.1942) is a Milanese multihyphenate. An architect and furniture designer, he became known during the 1970s and 80s at the height of the Memphis Milano and Italian Minimalism movements. The geometric purity of his designs is firmly rooted within this context. H73.5 W50 D46.5cm
