Set of Two Midcentury White Bouclé Heart Chairs, by Kurmanowicz, 1960s

About the Item

Set of two chairs 124 called "Heart" designed by Helena and Jerzy Kurmanowicz in 1959. Produced in Radomsko Zaklady Przemyslu Drzewnego. This is one of the best designed chairs of the turn of the 50s and 60s. Today it is a rare model that impresses with its form and workmanship. Due to the characteristic shape of the backrest, it cannot be confused with any other. Beautifully designed legs that connect the backrest with the seat. The upholstery is made of pleasant to touch boucle textile. It is high quality and durable italian fabric in a light beige color. The chair structure is made of beech wood finished with a gloss varnish. The chair has been restored - the wood has been refreshed, the new upholstery foams have been used, the new upholstery was hand sewn.
