About the Item

Augusto Savini for Pozzi, 'Pamplona' dining chairs, black lacquered ash wood, caramel leather upholstery, Italy, 1960s, set of 2. Armchairs in black wood and new leather upholstery. A characteristic design, simplistic yet very strong in lines and proportions. Fantastic architectural structure, starting with the bent black lacquered wooden frames which are connected with beautiful dovetail joints, visible at the front of the chair’s arms. The front legs come together at the back, where both legs are connected with metal studs. This connection is a beautiful detail in the chairs design and emphasize the tight and modern expression of the chairs.
