Design of the "Apart chair" appeals to the classics of Russian avant-garde, which was stopped by a Soviet regime in the early 1920s. There were a lot of influential designers and artists from Russia who were relocated to the foreign countries, especially in the U.S. The Apart chair is a reflection of the feeling when the piece was placed in a foreign space.
This chair was designed especially for sight unseen offsite show.
This new version of the Apart chair is aphosteled with high quality Kvadrat textile.
