This Set of Four 19th Century Swedish Louis XVI Gilded Chairs

About the Item

This set of four 19th century Swedish Louis XVI gilded chairs is a Classic example of the elegance of the Belle Epoch in Europe! Beautifully handcrafted in the neoclassic style, each has been hand carved with egg and dart, lotus blossom and rosettes, with turned spindles on the seatback for lightweight strength and comfort. The gilded finish creates an opulent effect, as does the luxurious upholstery, circa 1890s. Each measures: 37 H x 18 W x 16 D.
