About the Item
1960s Thonet style chair model n.17, also called 'Cathedral', black lacquered with original period Vienna straw seat and back.
Under the seat it says "Romania", therefore it is a chair produced in one of the various bentwood furniture factories from the early/Mid-1900s.
The backrest has a hole in the straw as shown in the photo.
Has normal signs of age and use.
