Carved African Bamileke Throne Chair

About the Item

This circa 1980s hand carved African chair was made by a member of the Bamileke tribe from Cameroon. Hand carved dark stained wood arm chair with rounded, open-work back that features a grid and knob pattern, round seat and open work pedestal base. Measures: arm height: 26.5” seat height: 16.5”. seat depth: 19.75 seat width: 16.5” to 17.5”.
