Gilded Age Highly Carved Chaise Lounge
About the Item
A fantastic and whimsical chaise lounge. Hand carved with a beautifully patinaed green paint and gilded accents. This truly is large enough for a person to sleep on should one need a small bed. With carvings of cornucopias, swags, Lions heads and paws. This truly is a piece of the Gilded Age furnishings and it exudes that. Very comfortable and a lot of style. Freshly rebuilt and reupholstered the cushion is a down wrapped bedding quality foam core.
This item is now on view at the Berkshire galleries of Great Barrington Massachusetts.
