About the Item
Carved sculptural chaise lounge by Jacquin Smolens. Smolens was a life long friend of Wharton Esherick, who inspired Smolens to sculpt and create furniture. He maintained a studio in Rock Hall Maryland starting in 1970. This piece was acquired directly from the artist.
