About the Item

A cute little mid 19th century country house chaise longue. English c1840 with a beautifully curvaceous walnut frame raised on the original gilt brass casters and short turned legs. Newley upholstered in Titley & Marr printed linen with a contrasting frilly skirt printed with the same colour palette within the same range of fabric. Upholstered with a brand new traditionally built seat with new springs which will last the test of time. The buttoned back retains its original innards. 40cm seat height
