A rare Swedish chaise from the Gustavian period with beautifully shaped seat in original paint. Egg and dart carved detail around the frame, rosettes on the leg posts with fluted round end caps. Newly upholstered in linen with a burlap hand-stitched seat, tufted top cushion, and nail head trim. Circa 1790.
