This are the one and only chairs, original in red, introduced on the exhibition in Brussels, 1958. We bought this chair from the family Cordemeyer. This are one of the first chairs ever produced! The shell is in fiberglass. Damage, but repaired (see picture #5). Furthermore traces of wear and some loss of paint/coating on the frame. Dordrecht Chairs by Wim van Gelderen for 't Spectrum, the Netherlands. Naive, modernist, vintage armchairs in a light-colored oak. They pair beautifully with the "elephant grey" textured fabric. It's rare to find a pair of these Dutch modernist plywood chairs that were produced in the early 1950s.
