We are delighted to offer for auction this antique hand dyed aged tan brown leather club armchair Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, for an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll price it up for you This is a lovely rare and original antique find, the back leg is stamped M.Paul London, the frame is solid oak, the leather is as mentioned fully aniline which is a natural untreated hide, this leather is more preferable for making vintage club armchairs, its softer to touch and shows the natural patina of the hide giving the chair a more authentic vintage feel. It’s a much more expensive way of upholstering because you have to hand dye the chair after making it which adds another expensive The frame base is the original coil sprung setting, this is the traditional English seat base going back hundreds of years, only the finest retailers replicate this method today.
